Cookie Policy

GeneratorNickname uses cookies minimally. Full table of every cookie group and how to turn each one off.

Cookies are very small files your browser stores on your own device. GeneratorNickname uses them minimally: enough to keep the site working and to see which pages get used. We do not use cookies to work out who you are. Updated 25 August 2026.

Why some cookies cannot be removed

The technical and security groups are a condition of the site running at all: without them the protection layer cannot tell you apart from a bot, and the site may refuse to serve you. Everything else is optional and you can switch it off.

How to block or delete cookies

  • Chrome (mobile & desktop): Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Safari (iPhone): Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies, or Clear History and Website Data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Private browsing: every cookie is discarded the moment you close the window.
To switch off personalised advertising while keeping technical cookies, use the ad settings of the ad network itself or of the Google account signed in on that browser.

Does the site still work without them

Yes. The generator and the character tables run entirely in your browser, so they keep working. What you lose are small conveniences: the site will not remember the style you last picked, and the ads you see will be less relevant.

When this policy changes

If we add a new cookie group, the table above is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to [email protected].
