Terms of Service

GeneratorNickname is a free tool with no account, no subscription and no purchase. These Terms of Service explain what you are allowed to do with the nicknames it produces, what happens to a nickname you contribute, and the limits of what we can promise. Using the site means you accept them.

Last updated: 19 August 2026. These terms describe how this specific site actually works, not a generic template.

The short version

What this agreement covers

These terms apply to every page on generatornickname.com: the generator on the front page of GeneratorNickname, the per-platform and per-style pages, the copy buttons, the voting controls and the nickname submission form. They form an agreement between you, the visitor, and the operator of this website.

If you do not agree with something here, the remedy is simple and immediate: stop using the site. There is no account to close and no data tied to you to withdraw, because none was collected in the first place — our privacy policy sets out exactly what is and is not recorded.

What you are allowed to do with a nickname

You may use any nickname produced by this site for anything, including commercially, without asking us and without crediting us. There is no licence to accept and no attribution requirement. This is deliberate, and it follows from what a stylish nickname actually is.

The generator does not invent a font or a proprietary graphic. It maps the letters you type onto characters that already exist in the public Unicode standard — mathematical alphanumeric symbols, small capitals, enclosed letters, decorative brackets and combining marks. Those characters are a shared international standard, published by the Unicode Consortium. Nobody can own them, including us, so we are in no position to license them to you or to take them back.

The practical consequence: put the output in a game profile, a Discord server, an Instagram bio, a logo, a video thumbnail or a client’s brand — all of it is fine. What we do ask is that you do not present the site itself as your own product, and that you respect the limits in the next section.

What you may not do

The restrictions are about protecting the site’s availability and other visitors, not about restricting the names themselves.

• No automated bulk collection. Scripted scraping, crawling for wholesale copying, or hammering the generator to harvest its full output is not permitted. The site applies rate limiting, and traffic that trips it may be slowed or blocked.
• No republishing the site as a whole. Individual nicknames are free to take. Copying the curated lists, page structure and explanatory text wholesale to build a competing clone is not.
• No impersonation. Do not use a nickname from here to pose as a real person, a brand, a moderator or an official account.
• No unlawful use. Do not use the site or its output for harassment, fraud, or anything that breaks the law where you live or the rules of the platform you are posting to.
• No interference. Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse the site’s infrastructure, or to bypass its rate limits and abuse protections.

Because there is no account system, enforcement here does not mean suspending a profile. It means blocking or throttling abusive traffic at the network level, and removing content that breaks these rules.

Nicknames you contribute

When you submit a nickname through a submission form, you are publishing it — it becomes part of that name’s public list, visible to everyone and ranked by how often it is copied and voted on. By submitting it you confirm you have the right to share it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to display, store, rank and reproduce it on this site.

That permission is limited to running the site. We do not sell contributed nicknames, and we do not claim exclusive ownership of them — the same submission can appear elsewhere, and you remain free to use your own contribution anywhere you like.

No author identity travels with a contribution. We do not store a username, an email address or a profile next to it, which has one consequence worth stating plainly: a submission cannot be traced back to you, but it also cannot be proven to be yours later.

Do not submit anything that identifies a real person — a full legal name, a phone number, a school or workplace, or somebody else’s handle — and do not submit sexual, hateful, or deliberately abusive material. We remove contributions that break these rules, and we may remove any contribution at our discretion without notice. If something identifying you or your child has appeared on the site, tell us and we will take it down; we do not require a legal form to act on a removal request, and those requests are handled ahead of everything else.

Our own content

The individual nicknames are free to use, as set out above. What is protected is the work around them: the explanatory articles, the curated groupings, the page layouts, the images we produce and the site’s code and design. Those remain the property of the site’s operator and are not free to copy wholesale.

Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome. Reproducing whole pages is not.

Trademarks and non-affiliation

Stylish nicknames are public Unicode characters, not installable fonts; game and platform names (Free Fire, PUBG, Instagram…) are trademarks of their owners.

GeneratorNickname is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Garena Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Discord, Instagram, TikTok or any other game or platform mentioned on this site. Those names are used descriptively, to say which platform a set of nicknames is intended for.

One point follows directly from this and is the most common misunderstanding in this niche: we cannot install anything into your game or your phone. There is no font to download and nothing to modify on your device. The generator outputs ordinary text characters, and your device renders them with the fonts it already has — which is also why an unusual character sometimes shows as an empty box on one device and perfectly on another.

Availability, accuracy and no warranty

The site is provided “as is”, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it — including whole pages and features — at any time and without notice.

Two limits are worth spelling out because they are the ones visitors actually run into:

• We cannot guarantee a nickname will be accepted. Every game and social platform enforces its own rules on length, allowed characters, profanity and uniqueness, and those rules change without warning. A name that is accepted today may be rejected tomorrow, or accepted on one platform and refused on another.
• We cannot guarantee a nickname is unused. The generator does not check availability anywhere, and it cannot tell whether somebody already holds the handle you want.

Where we describe how a platform behaves, we aim to be accurate and to say when the information was checked. Platforms still change their rules on their own schedule, so treat those notes as guidance rather than a promise, and verify anything that matters to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of GeneratorNickname is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. That includes a nickname being rejected, reported, changed or banned by a platform, a name being taken by somebody else, characters that do not display on a particular device, or loss of data or opportunity.

You use the site at your own discretion and are responsible for the nickname you choose and how you use it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here removes the consumer protections you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.

Age

This site is not directed to children under 13. There is very little here for a child to give away — no account, no profile and no contact field anywhere — but a younger visitor could submit a nickname containing personal details. Parents and guardians can write to us and we will remove such an entry without asking for proof first.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States, with the site operating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your own country of residence gives you stronger rights, that law continues to apply to you and these terms do not displace it.

Before any formal step, please contact us. Nearly everything raised about this site — a removal request, a trademark concern, a factual correction — is resolved by an email, and that is by far the fastest route for both sides.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The revised version takes effect when it is posted here, and the “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. We change that date only when the text has genuinely changed, never to make the page look freshly maintained.

If a change is substantial — a new obligation on visitors, or a different position on contributed content — we will say so on this page rather than folding it in quietly.

How to contact us

Questions about these terms, trademark and copyright notices, and requests to remove a contributed nickname all reach the same inbox, and the address is published on our contact page. Put REMOVAL in the subject line if you want something taken down, and include the page URL and the exact entry so we can act on your first message. We aim to reply within five business days, and removal requests jump the queue.
